Adler Graduate School offers a Master of Arts Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy and Certificates in Specialty Area Programs. Our courses are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and are designed to accommodate the busy schedules of working adults. With classes offered on campus, online, during evenings, and on weekends, it's possible to become a mental health or human service professional while balancing the responsibilities of work, home, and school.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Study Clinical Mental Health Counseling with guidance from experienced faculty and a competency-based curriculum. Applied Adlerian Psychology in Leadership

The Certificate of Applied Adlerian Psychology in Leadership is a unique online program for mental health and human services professionals to study Adlerian psychology, its theoretical foundations, and its practical applications. This 20-credit certificate requires successful completion of a combination of required courses.

Co-Occurring Disorders and Addiction Counseling

The Certificate in Co-Occurring Disorders and Addiction Counseling emphasizes the progressive approach to working with people that have both mental health and substance use disorders, helping the client and therapist move toward a more holistic, integrated, and positive outcome. This 18-23 credit certificate requires successful completion of a combination of required courses and internship components.

Post-Master's Certificate in Counseling

The post master’s Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) is a 16-hour organized sequence of study designed to add on as an endorsement for licensure to meet state credentialing requirements. This post master’s Certificate builds on the foundation of courses taken in a previous master’s level counseling degree. 

Post-Master’s Certificate in School Counseling

This 24-30 credit Post Master’s Certificate in School Counseling is an organized sequence of study designed to add on as an endorsement for licensure to meet state credentialing requirements.  The program is not designed for initial licensure but builds on the foundation of courses taken in a previous master’s degree in counseling, education or a closely related field.  An applicant is required to have completed a master’s degree in counseling, education or closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education and be eligible to purse licensure from the Minnesota Board of Education in the field of school counseling.
