Non-SARA States

California

California is the only state that does not currently participate in NC-SARA. Adler Graduate School is an out-of-state public institution with no physical presence in California and is not under the scope of institutions required to report to the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education. California does not regulate non-profit higher education institutions, allowing Adler Graduate School to offer its online programs to California residents. However, AGS does not meet California’s professional licensing requirements without completing additional requirements. AGS does not offer an ethics course reviewing California law.

Non-SARA Territories

Federated States of Micronesia

The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) has no regulations, policies, or laws that restrict U.S. institutions from providing distance education to citizens of the FSM.

Republic of the Marshall Islands

The Republic of the Marshall Islands has no regulations or rules regarding the authorization of distance education programs.

In compliance with 34 CFR 668.14(b)(32) and 34 CFR 668.43, Adler Graduate School ensures that students receive timely and accurate information regarding state licensure requirements during our interview process. Specifically, we provide detailed information on whether our programs meet the educational requirements for licensure in each state where our students are located. Individual student advising is available if Adler Graduate School ceases to meet licensure requirements in a student’s state or if a student plans to relocate to a state where requirements differ.

Students planning to use their degree or coursework from Adler Graduate School for licensure in other states should remain informed about the specific licensure requirements of their target state.
