The concepts of therapeutic alliance and misalliance movement will be presented in lecture. The use of the case formulation and change plan will be discussed and demonstrated. Channels for client input and feedback will be taught by distributing and discussing specific measures and processes. The application of the Connexions Focusing Technique to alliance ruptures for will be discussed and demonstrated.

Rocky Garrison, PhD is a current faculty member at Adler Graduate School in Minneapolis. He has a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology and also teaches at Drake University in Des Moines IA. He was in private practice for over 30 years and is a licensed psychologist in Oregon. He has written many articles for the Journal of individual Psychology.
