Accessibility and Career Services Coordinator
Adler Graduate School is seeking a Rehabilitation Counselor or other student services professional to provide ADA accommodation services, accessibility support, and career counseling to students and alumni.
Position Summary
This position provides accessibility services and career support to Adler Graduate School students and supports the Dean of Student Affairs with alumni relations. The Accessibility and Career Services Coordinator develops and participates in key initiatives to support student and alumni development. As part of a small team, the Coordinator will have the opportunity to help create a supportive, inclusive, and thriving environment that fosters the personal, academic, and professional growth of students and alumni.
Salary: $65,000 – 72,000
Key Responsibilities:
Accessibility Resources
- Under the general direction of the Dean of Student Affairs, provide support and training to students setting up ADA accommodation agreements.
- As part of the interactive process, review and evaluate accommodation documentation and meet with students to determine functional limitations and potential barriers to equal access in the educational environment. Create approved accommodation agreements.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain familiarity with and support students with assistive technology (e.g., text to speech software, screen readers).
- Orient faculty on accommodation processes and procedures and provide implementation support.
- Provide support for accessible course pages and learning objects.
- Review online resources (e.g., LMS, website) for accessibility, partnering with IT as needed.
Career Services
- Provide resume and cover letter support to students.
- Coach students in employment preparation.
- Offer online workshops on preparing for a career as a licensed counselor, partnering with faculty as appropriate.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and host career/internship fairs.
- Create and maintain career resources page in LMS and/or website.
- Track and maintain data on alumni employment.
Other key responsibilities include alumni development and student services support.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling, Disability Studies, Special Education, or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years experience working with disability accommodations or vocational rehabilitation.
Work Location: Hybrid – minimum of three days per week on our Minnetonka campus

Board Member, Board of Directors
Board Members provide strategic oversight, support the President, ensure AGS’s mission, values, and financial health are upheld, and promote AGS’s community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Governance:
Provide strategic guidance and ensure alignment with AGS’s mission. Review key performance metrics; approve budgets, audits, ensure legal and fiduciary compliance, participate in the President’s annual evaluation; and represent AGS external stakeholders.
Board Term & Commitment:
Serve a three-year term that includes attending six Board meetings and two strategic planning events per year. Participate in standing and ad hoc committees, attend college events, help identify and recruit prospective board members to foster diversity, and remain informed about trends in mental health and higher education.
Philanthropy:
Prioritize AGS as a philanthropic commitment by making an annual contribution at a personally meaningful level, with a goal of 100% board participation in giving.
Compensation:
This is a volunteer role. AGS provides reimbursement for in-state travel, accommodations, and administrative support related to board service.
