About Kyle Ritten
Kyle Ritten has several years of experience working with students across their lifespan, from an assistant preschool teacher to an assistant professor. His clinical experiences include working as a school counselor and a career advisor. He has earned his NCC licensure, M.S. in School Counseling from Eastern Illinois University, and a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Kyle is also completing his Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with his dissertation topic on Understanding African American Male Adolescents’ Exposure to the Career Development Process Utilizing a Transcendental Phenomenological Approach. His additional research interests include adolescent career development, culturally responsive career intervention models, school counseling adolescent populations, and culturally responsive counseling supervision approaches. He is thrilled to be at Adler Graduate School and looks forward to engaging with students in their educational journey and development.
