Participants will increase their knowledge, understanding, self-awareness and practice skills that enable MFT to serve clients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

Understanding the nature of social diversity and oppression and cultural humility
Understanding cultural Humility
Know and be able to demonstrate the four pillars of intercultural competence by creating 3 measurable goals for the next 12 months to increase aware ness as MFT

Sarah is a 2009 graduate of Adler Graduate School. Since graduatation she has obtained Diversity and Inclusion certification through the MInnesota Social Services Association.
Sarah is the owner of NAMASTE Sevices of MN. NAMASTE provides volunteer guardianship services to people in need of support and assures safety and well being for wards of the state in Hennepin county.
Sarah is currently a Beavioral Health and Human Services faculty at Anoka Technical College
