Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Leadership
The Certificate of Applied Adlerian Psychology in Leadership is a unique online program for mental health and human services professionals to study Adlerian psychology, its theoretical foundations, and its practical applications. This 21-credit certificate requires successful completion of a combination of required courses.
Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Co-Occurring Disorders and Addiction Counseling
The Certificate in Co-Occurring Disorders and Addiction Counseling emphasizes the progressive approach to working with people that have both mental health and substance use disorders, helping the client and therapist move toward a more holistic, integrated, and positive outcome. This 23-30 credit certificate requires successful completion of a combination of required courses and internship components.
Post-Master’s Certificate in Art Therapy
The Art Therapy Post-Master’s Certificate Program provides education and supervised field experiences to professionals who have an interest in seeking credentials as an Art Therapist. The certificate program offered to applicants who currently have a Master’s Degree in a related mental health field (Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, Psychiatric Nursing, Addictions Counseling) and who meet the admission criteria and studio art pre-requisites.
Post-Master’s Certificate in Counseling
This 21-27 credit Post Master’s Certificate in Counseling is an organized sequence of study designed to add on as an endorsement for licensure to meet state credentialing requirements. The program is not designed for initial licensure but builds on the foundation of courses taken in a previous master’s degree in counseling or a related field. If you have earned a clinical master’s degree but have not completed the current educational requirements for state licensure, this program gives you the specialized academic coursework and field experiences required. All coursework can be taken online, on campus, or a combination of both. An applicant is required to have completed a master’s degree in counseling or a related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and be eligible to pursue licensure in your field in the state where you work.
Post-Master’s Certificate in School Counseling
This 24-30 credit Post Master’s Certificate in School Counseling is an organized sequence of study designed to add on as an endorsement for licensure to meet state credentialing requirements. The program is not designed for initial licensure but builds on the foundation of courses taken in a previous master’s degree in counseling, education or a closely related field. An applicant is required to have completed a master’s degree in counseling, education or closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education and be eligible to pursue licensure from the Minnesota Board of Education in the field of school counseling.
