The Clinical Mental Health Counseling specialty (CMHC) prepares students to help children, adolescents, and adults overcome mental health challenges and achieve holistic wellness. Students in the program learn current and emerging evidence-based approaches to screening, assessment & diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders and develop prevention and intervention skills essential for practicing effective mental health counseling.
