This is a Zoom Presentation

Adlerian Group Case Consultation is a psychoeducational group process focusing on mental health professionals seeking to improve their understanding of the counseling process via the theory and practice of Adlerian psychology. Components of Adlerian theory will include life style, holism, social interest/community feeling, approaches to knowing and understanding others, decision-making, purposive behavior, and movement from a “felt” minus to a “perceived” plus.

Elements of Adlerian counseling and psychotherapy practice will be demonstrated throughout the process including ethics, equality, encouragement, empathy, and education.

The presentation consists of five 1 and1/2 hour sessions every other week on Tuesdays starting on October 6th and meeting on October 20th, November 3rd, November 17th and finishing on December 1, 2020. The workshops will start at 7:00 PM and go until 8:30PM CST.

Prior to entering a session, each participant is requested to complete an eight-item questionnaire about a person with whom they are currently working. Included in the questions are the first name and age of the person, presenting problems, family members involved with the person, others involved with the person, specific facts about the person, some strengths of the person, and some strengths of another person involved in the person’s life.

This questionnaire will be emailed to all participants as they register. Registration is limited to 12 for the five session workshop. MFT CE's pending.
