Professional Practice: 
Solange has more than 15 years of counseling practice, including private practice and supervision. She has supervised field experiences of more than 100 master level students and a number of counseling professionals seeking licensure.  Professional development, identity, and ethics are the central focus of Solange’s work as a counselor educator. 
 
Prior to becoming a counselor and counselor educator Solange had a 20 year career as a scientific researcher, studying mechanisms of control of cellular proliferation and wound healing. She believes this experience is a fundamental component of her success as an Adlerian counselor and counselor educator, as it taught her to look at problems with a systematic and scientific lens, to look for patterns, and to generate and test hypotheses.
