Nikhil is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and currently working on his doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Nikhil has over 10 years of mental health work experience including behavioral health case management and counseling.  Nikhil's approach to counseling is grounded in honoring the whole person which is supported by his background in narrative, post modern therapy concepts and holistic practices. His interests include supervision, eating disorders, immigration and acculturation concerns, social justice, holistic practices in mental health, and multicultural counseling. Nikhil is multilingual and besides English, he is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.

Professional Practice: 

Nikhil has served as a counselor at Reclaim LGBT youth and Summit Guidance Center. He has also worked as a case manager at the Melrose Center for Eating Disorder and Health Partners behavioral health. Currently he is a counselor at Casperson Therapy Center in St. Louis Park.
