Jean Budge, MA, LMFT

Marriage and Family Therapy Interim Program Director; Adjunct Faculty Member

Jean received her B.S. degree in Child Development and Criminal Justice from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and her M.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate School in Richfield, Minnesota.

Her experience includes: providing parent education to families involved in the legal system, as well as therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in their homes. Jean is a Minnesota Board-Approved Supervisor and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate.

At Adler Graduate School, Jean has had the opportunity to help create and teach the Family Therapy course as well as Introduction to Field Experience where students learn about transitioning into the world of working as a therapist while completing their academic education.

A passion for Jean is helping develop the clinical skills of students and practitioners seeking to become licensed therapists.

Professional Practice: 

Jean has worked in group homes, in client's homes, as an outpatient therapist, and as a site supervisor for students and post-graduates counting hours toward graduation and/or licensure.
