Charmaine McIntosh, PsyD

Adjunct Faculty Member

Dr. McIntosh has 18 years experience working as a mental health clinician. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy as well as psychological assessments to children, adolescents, and adults. She has supervised master’s level therapists (individual and group); co-facilitated psycho-educational groups with teenage mothers, children who have witnessed family violence, and men who have abused their partners; and conducts critical incident stress management in the workplace. Dr. McIntosh is the President of the Ontario Society of Adlerian Psychology and the Co-Chair of the Adlerian Counselling and Therapy Section of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology. In therapy, she considers herself a facilitator in an individual’s journey towards personal growth and a healthy lifestyle.
