Healing the Healer (click here for more)

5/4/2018 - 9:00am to 4:30pm CDT

"Healing the Healer" is a non-cognitive approach for the healer to look at his/her inner issues blocking us from our best self as helpers in the human service field. This workshop is not CBT in its orientation; the workshop is more reflective in nature. We will take time to look at our life experiences from childhood to our intimate relationships today. The workshop is an exploration of your personal narrative. We will discover how that narrative shapes the quality of work you do with clients, your sense of self-care, and how well we treat each other as colleagues and the people we love. To register please click HERE. To participate in the workshop package, please contact Ev Haas at (612) 767-7044.

Objectives:

  • Create a developmental practice through personally creating a more reflective practice that is inclusive of Cognitive and the Psychodynamic ‘sense of self’.
  • Create a relationship-based pracitce.
  • Participants will be able to add to their CBT practices a more comprehensive understanding of personality development.
