This didactic and experiential workshop will focus on several aspects of working with clients in a counseling and psychotherapeutic setting utilizing Adlerian psychology as the theoretical basis. The aspects to be considered include the assessment of the client’s symptoms, the purpose of the symptoms, the identification and establishment of treatment goals, the identification and establishment of  the client-counselor relationship, and the assessment of present, future, and past styles of movement. This workshop  material and style of presentation will be grounded in the theory and practice developed by Alfred Adler. To register please click HERE. This workshop is led by Wes Wingett PhD – a counselor, educator and consultant in private practice in Norfolk, NE since 1978. Dr. Wingett, a diplomate in Adlerian Psychology, has published several professional journals, coauthored numerous chapters in books, self-published four workbooks focusing on the application of Adlerian psychology, coauthored four workbooks on families and conducted several workshops worldwide based on the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler.
