This course provides 45 hours of training in clinical supervision. The course covers major models of clinical supervision; development and maintenance of the supervisor-supervisee relationship; ethical and legal aspects in clinical supervision; cultural competence in clinical supervision; and structuring, intervention, and evaluation practices in clinical supervision.
Participants will have a greater understanding of neuroanatomical structures and functions that inform psychotherapeutic intervention and assessment. Participants will also have an enhanced understanding of the types of research that can and need to be conducted at the interface of the creative arts therapies and neurosciences. The 6-hour workshop will include didactic instruction, case examples, art experiential, and interactive discussion to emphasize the objectives.

Organizational Art Therapy provides an alternative, non-verbal way to aid large and small groups that are dealing with transitional decisions, mediation needs, analysis of behaviors, problem-solving skills, and innovation challenges. The class participants will be able to understand the needs of the group by assessing and examining group systems and developing a variety of processing methods. Groups will find that art therapy will evoke responses and creative outcomes that are different from traditional training and coaching practices.
Interactive imagery is a unique form of visualization in that it is very "permissive," as opposed to therapist-directed. The technique utilizes holistic images and sensations developed entirely by, and therefore meaningful exclusively to, the client. When the clients are able to conjure their own images, they feel empowered to use those images to search for self-evident meaning.
