5 CEs - $20 donation: This workshop will focus on treating victims of violence from an Adlerian perspective.  We will examine some of the distorted beliefs and cognitive distortions of the perpetrators of violence and see how this then fits into treatment of their victims.  An Adlerian frame of reference will be used and methods of intervention will be discussed and explored including relaxation skills, emotional expression, cognitive skills, attributional styles, and gradual and prolonged exposure techniques.
