Socratic Questioning in Psychotherapy and Counseling (Course 716) - ONLINE
This online course focuses on the uses of Socratic style questioning in psychotherapy and counseling as a means of respectfully revealing the client's mistaken beliefs and private logic. The emphasis will be on the strategic questioning of the client to help them understand and work out their own solutions to their problems.
A graduate of the Adler Graduate School, Liza has a private practice in Toronto, Canada, where she works primarily with teens and young adults, as well as parents and couples. Liza contributes to todaysparent.com and huffingtonpost.com. Her first book, on women at midlife, was published in the spring of 2015. She recently joined the faculty at Adler Graduate School for which she teaches graduate-level writing.
