Pamela Harris is currently the Clinical Director of African American Family Services (AAFS) in Minneapolis , Minnesota . The mission of AAFS is to help the African American individual, family, and community reach a greater state of well-being through the delivery of community-based, culturally-specific chemical health, mental health and family preservation services. "I enjoy working with individuals who are in pain," says Dr. Harris, "and assisting them in finding their inner strength to rise above their life stressors and to become self-reliant."
